DEPTH PERCEPTION

Depth Perception

Depth Perception was one of several outcomes from my Art x AI Creative Research Residency at the University of Melbourne, undertaken in collaboration with Dr Lea Frermann (School of Computing and Information Systems) and supported by Science Gallery Melbourne. THE performance / experiment featured a web app where audience used swiping actions to respond to the dancers INTERPRETATION of the text. To read a report on the residency, CLICK HERE.

“It was an exciting departure from my usual work, I had the pleasure to collaborate with performance artist Alisdair Macindoe to explore the intersections of language, art & AI. I've learned so much from seeing things through a different lens.” - Dr Lea Frermann.

Depth Perception was presented as part of Artists Machines and the space between, Melbourne Fringe Festival 2025.
